Workshop on Cell Based and Individual Based Modelling - CBIBM

As part of the 2014 International Conference on Computational Science, 10th-12th June 2014, Cairns Australia.

News

Background

Individual and cell based models are increasingly being used to study the behaviour of natural systems, from modelling individual cells to study tissue development through to representations of whole organisms to study population dynamics. The aim of this workshop is to bring together scientists who are developing and using individual based modelling tools and software. The workshop will cover all aspects of model and tool development and use.

Topics for submission

We are currently requesting abstract submissions for talks which present all aspects of cell based or individual based modelling, from simulation (or analysis) software through to applications of these methods. Suggested topics for the workshop are: This list is not exhaustive, submissions relating to any aspect of cell based or individual based modelling and simulation will be considered.

Instructions for authors

The deadline for submission of a paper for inclusion in the workshop has passed, however there are spaces availiable for contributed talks on late breaking research developments. To submit an abstract for a talk at the workshop send the folowing information to the workshop email address CBIBM@cs.ox.ac.uk You will be notified shortly after the closing date (the 7th of March 2014) wether your talk has been accepted.

If you have any issues with abstract submission then email the workshop organiser at CBIBM@cs.ox.ac.uk.
