Joint Consultative Committee for Undergraduates (JCCU)

The Joint Consultative Committee for Unndergraduates (JCCU) ensures effective communication between students and the department regarding academic matters. The Committees meet termly (in Week 4) to discuss issues affecting students, and members of the Committee attend other departmental committee meetings.

The committee is concerned with matters affecting undergraduate students such as: syllabus; arrangements for teaching, practicals and examinations; and facilities. The chair will report matters concerning teaching to the Undergraduate Supervisory Committee and refer any matters raised through the representation system to the relevant department committee.
