Interests
Václav Janeček's work focuses on private law and philosophical puzzles at the intersection of law and computer science.
Václav is a co-founder and co-director of the Oxford LawTech Education Programme. Together with Prof Melham and Prof Williams, he also developed and designed the fully interdisciplinary Law and Computer Science master's course on which Václav now teaches as a guest lecturer.
At his home department, the University of Bristol Law School, Václav directs the LLM in Law, Innovation and Technology programme and teaches in the field of LawTech and legal informatics.
