Kleros Doctoral Support Grant
The Kleros Doctoral Support Grant is a department matched collaboration with Kleros providing funding for a PhD student researching decentralised justice at the department.
The successful candidate will complete their research under the supervision of Professor Paul Goldberg and will be based in the Algorithms and Complexity Theory research group.
Grant details

The collaboration between the department and Kleros aims to advance research in decentralised justice and blockchain-based governance.

How to apply
Candidates should apply for DPhil in Computer Science via the standard route, and in the application specify Paul Goldberg as prospective supervisor, and mention the Decentralised Arbitration project.

Key Dates
This Doctoral Support Grant is due to start in 2025 and will last for three and a half years of full-time study. It is expected that the start date will be around the beginning of October 2025.
There will be two rounds of applications, the first will take place on 3 December 2024, and the second round will take place on 4 March 2025.
