About me...
I am a DPhil student in the Numerical Analysis Group working with Andy Wathen. I am affiliated to Balliol College. I did my undergraduate degree at the TU Chemnitz working with Peter Benner.
Research interests
I am interested in Numerical Linear Algebra with a particular focus on iterative solvers for saddle point problems and preconditioning. I am also interested in the connection between numerical linear algebra and Gauss quadrature as well as computing the Truncated SVD with applications in gene expression analysis. During my Diploma thesis I worked on a Krylov-Schur like algorithm for Hamiltonian matrices.
