Biography

I am a DPhil (PhD) Research Scholar specializing in Human-Centered AI at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Philosophy. I am supervised by Prof. Marina Jirotka and Prof. Ivan Flechais, and advised by  Sir Nigel Shadbolt and Prof. John Tasioulas. My PhD research is fully funded by the Oxford Institute for Ethics in AI's doctoral merit scholarship.

My research focuses on developing AI-driven solutions that enhance human experiences and ethical decision-making in technology, particularly in the context of LLMs and Smart Homes. I have worked as a Research Scientist at Amazon Alexa AI and as a Research Engineer at Microsoft Azure ML.

The ontributions that I made have been recognized with multiple Best Paper Awards across international venues, including the US, UK, Japan, India, Portugal, and Finland. I have published extensively in top-tier academic conferences and journals, including ACM, IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and Taylor & Francis, with my research garnering over 400 citations. I have also contributed as a reviewer and author in leading conferences such as ICML, ICLR, CHI, NeurIPS, EMNLP, SIGIR, and CSCW. Beyond publications, my work has led to several granted patents in AI, ML, and HCI. In addition to research, I actively engage with the academic community through mentorship, guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students, and delivering invited talks and lectures on AI, ML, and Human-Centered Computing.
