Biography
Munir joined the Department as part of CDT in Cyber Security. His DPhil thesis focuses on developing runtime protection techniques for vulnerable software programs in various contexts. Prior to his doctoral studies, Munir completed an MSc degree in Software Systems Engineering (with Distinction) at University College London. Before embarking on a research-oriented career in the UK, Munir worked as a software engineer for six years in the financial IT sector in Turkey, where he also obtained his BSc in Computer Engineering and his first MSc in Engineering and Technology Management from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
