As part of the University of Oxford's expansion in Computer Science, the Department of Computer Science is delighted to announce 3 faculty positions for recruitment in the 2024-2025 academic year (to start on 1 September 2025).

• Associate Professor or Professor of Computer Science, with Tutorial Fellowship

  We are looking for outstanding candidates in all areas of Computer Science. The University of Oxford uses the grade of Associate Professor for most of its academic appointments and these posts can also come with the title of full professor. So these posts are suitable for those at the start of their careers directly from PhD, as well as for more established researchers.

  • These positions come with a Tutorial Fellowship, either at Mansfield College or at Oriel College
  • The closing date for applications is 12 noon on 18 Dec 2024
  • Candidates should be available for online talks on 18-19 Feb 2025 and 25-26 Feb 2025 and for in-person interviews in Oxford on 18-19 March 2025.

• Professor of Computer Science in association with St John's College

  We are looking for outstanding candidates in all areas of Computer Science. We will be appointing to a statutory professorship, which is the very most senior academic grade at the University of Oxford. This chair will be appointed by the Department of Computer Science and St John's College.
