WCIT Outstanding IT Student Awards 2019

We are delighted that Department of Computer Science student Catherine Vlasov was a finalist in the WCIT Outstanding Information Technology Student Awards 2019. The awards were created to recognise outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate IT students within the UK. Criteria for the award included academic excellence, overcoming adversity, entrepreneurial skills, and contribution to charity or community. Each of the five finalists, accompanied by an academic lead from their sponsoring institution, was invited to the WCIT’s 103^rdBusiness Lunch on 20^thFebruary, held in the beautiful Wax Chandlers’ Hall in the City of London.
