Best Paper Award at RuleML 2015

A paper co-authored by two Oxford computer scientists has won the Best Paper Award of the 9th International Web Rule Symposium (RuleML 2015) in Berlin, Germany.
The annual International Web Rule Symposium (RuleML) is an international conference on research, applications, languages, and standards for rule technologies. RuleML is the leading conference to build bridges between academia and industry in the field of rules and its applications, especially as part of the semantic technology stack.
The winning paper was “Existential Rules and Bayesian Networks for Probabilistic Ontological Data Exchange” by Thomas Lukasiewicz (Oxford University), Maria Vanina Martinez (Universidad Nacional Del Sur and CONICET, Argentina), Livia Predoiu (Oxford University), and Gerardo I. Simari (Universidad Nacional Del Sur and CONICET, Argentina).
