Abstract: The Internet itself is under constant attack from hating hackers, authoritarian agencies, boring bugs and annoying accidents. Core routers stand alone in the hurricane, far beyond the capacity of any protective firewall, left to defend themselves. How can they do this? And how safe is the Internet really? This talk will reveal all.
Bio: The presenter is a Distinguished Engineer on Cisco’s Ensoft team, and helped to create the Guinness Book of Records’ “World’s Highest Capacity Internet Router”.
