Research Associate in Geometric ML for Molecular Modelling

Full Time and Fixed Term contract for 4 years

Grade 7: £36,024 - £44,263 p.a. with the potential to under-fill at Grade 6 with salaries in the range of £32,332 - £38,205 p.a.

We are looking for a motivated Research Associate in Geometric ML for molecular modelling at the Department of Computer Science.

The post holder, reporting to Prof Michael Bronstein, will be a member of a research group providing day-to-day supervision for research assistants on the topics of geometric ML and generative models. The post holder is expected to develop their own research programme relevant to the activity of the group.

  • Based within an internationally leading research group, you will benefit from working in Oxford University’s acclaimed Computer Science Department, located in the heart of Oxford. You will be expected to conduct novel research in geometric ML, in particular on graph neural networks and geometric generative models and applications to molecular design. You will also provide guidance and supervision of PhD/Masters students in the group.
  • You should hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in computer science, mathematics or related discipline, possess sufficient specialist knowledge. Knowledge of differential geometry and industrial experience are desirable.
