Full Time and Fixed Term contract until 31 March 2026
Grade 7: £36,024 - £44,263 p.a. with the potential to under-fill at Grade 6 with salaries in the range of £32,332 - £38,205 p.a.
We are excited to offer a fixed-term Research Associate position at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Professor Nobuko Yoshida. The Research Associate will be part of Mobility Reading Group led by Nobuko Yoshida. The successful candidate will be located in the Department of Computer Science, Oxford.
Reporting to Professor Nobuko Yoshida, the post holder will be responsible for working on either theory or practice on session types; publishing the results and collaborating with the partners and group members across the projects.
Based within an internationally leading research group, the successful candidate will benefit from working in Oxford University’s acclaimed Computer Science Department, located in the heart of Oxford. You will be expected to develop research questions within a specific context, conduct individual research in the area of semantic technologies and artificial intelligence, including both theoretical foundations and system development, testing and evaluation.
The successful candidates should hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in related discipline with post-qualification research experience. Experience in the broad area of artificial intelligence and semantic technologies are also required.
